Sugaring

“Sugaring” is a safe, organic and natural
alternative to waxing for facial
and body hair removal. The ancient Egyptians
were pioneers in the use of sugar paste
for hair removal.  The sugar paste is made
from all natural ingredients and it is free
of any additives or preservatives. It’s even edible!
Sugaring is less painful,
more effective and is actually beneficial
for the skin through its exfoliative properties.

The process of sugaring is very simple.
The esthetician applies a “ball” of the sugar paste
with a gloved hand directly to the area where the hair is located.
Unlike hot wax, the sugar paste is near body temperature,
so there is no risk of burning or heat sensitivity.
Then, the sugar paste is “flicked off” in the
direction of hair growth, which minimizes hair breakage
and ingrowns. The same ball of paste can be used
over and over in the same area to capture
even the finest of hairs. With regular sugaring
treatments, hair re-growth is finer and sparser.
